Diana Murray writes stories and poems for children. She was awarded the 2010 SCBWI Barbara Karlin Grant for a picture book manuscript. Her credits include poems forthcoming in Spider, Highlights, High Five, and SCBWI Bulletin. She lives in New York City with her husband, a goldfish, assorted stacks of clutter, and two children she often loses in the laundry pile.
 Diana is a member of The Poets' Garage, an established critique group for children's writing. She spent about twelve years as an art director, most recently working at Theory, a fashion company. A few of her favorite authors and poets include: Julia Donaldson, Shel Silverstein, Jack Prelutsky, Karla Kuskin, Aileen Fisher, Karma Wilson, J. Patrick Lewis, Douglas Florian, Ogden Nash, and Adam Rex.
